Steel Bridge - PortlandPortland Bridges  2 1/2  hours  $50
There are 8 major bridges in Portland over the Willamette River that runs through the heart of the city. We will photograph at least six of them form perspectives and location not even the locals know about. Each one has it's own character and style. All make great photos. We will drive and walk, if you're up to it, along the East and West banks of the river for the best angles and positions to capture their majesty up close and from a farther scenic perspective.  We will go North to the St. John's bridge known as the little Golden Gate. This tour is available in either daylight, or for more dramatic effects, after dark. SAMPLE GALLERY

West End (Map) -
The Gorge is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We will take the scenic highway and wander along the edge of the gorge photographing 6 major waterfalls and several smaller ones, unique plant life including moss carpeted trees and rocks and dense forests. This is a beautiful tour regardless of the season or weather. There is always an abundance of photo opportunities in the Columbia Gorge. We turn around just after the majestic Horsetail Falls. About 70 miles round trip.  SAMPLE GALLERY

East Gorge (Map) - The tour completes the West End tour but continues on another 64 miles East to Maryhill, WA and the replica of Stonehenge.  We climb to vistas on the old Mosier Highway, watch the ecology rapidly morph from lush forested cliffs to high desert mesas. We will stop briefly in Hood River and look for the crazy wind and kite surfers. Lots of variety and spectacular photo opportunities on this tour.

Gorge-27c by Claudia Howell.Maryhill is 3 miles N. of The Dalles, OR and overlooks the Gorge. We will have a late lunch (no host) and a photographer's tour of the Maryhill Winery and of course some tastings. From there it's a couple of miles to an amazing full scale replica of Stonehenge.  We can come back on the Washington side of the Gorge for new perspectives on the way back if time allows.  SAMPLE GALLERY

Oregon Coast    8 Hrs. $140 (Map and details)
Coastal Viewpoint - Cape Lookout
Oregon is renown for it’s majestic and powerful coastline. We will head for Tillamook, home of famous cheeses and then take the 40 mile Three Capes Scenic Loop. There are high vistas, light houses, and open beaches. Guaranteed spectacular scenery regardless of the weather. We will experience high cliffs, capes, sandy beaches and possibly a good storm with some dramatic waves (my personal favorite). Tide pools, birds and wildlife are abundant. We will come back to Tillamook via Sand Lake where large sand dunes can be seen and maybe some crazy sand sport people.  SAMPLE GALLERY
